ABOUT THE COMPANY
Throughout life Lisa shared her love of vintage fashions with her mom, Darlene Vian. Never forgetting her dream, in 2002 Lisa entered the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco. While caring for two young children, she earned a fashion design degree and graduated in 2004.
Upon graduating, Lisa started her business in custom clothing which led to the development of her own collection of dresses and separates. Lisa opened her first boutique in Palo Alto in 2006. With a desire for a more outdoor lifestyle, she moved to Seattle where she re-located Vian Hunter House of Fashion.
Lisa was selected to participate in season one of NBC’s Fashion Star which aired nationwide on March 13, 2012. During the show, Lisa’s “Trudy” dress was purchased by Macy’s and sold out even before the show aired on the West Coast.
Lisa consults with start-up designers who are looking for guidance while launching their own line. "Designers have a tough path ahead while launching a line and having been through it, I'm happy to share my secrets and inside tips". Lisa has worked with accessory and clothing companies advising them on costing, manufacturing and business development. Contact Lisa@vianhunter.com for more information
